This spiced mix of apples and calvados (French apple brandy) goes perfectly with thunder and lightening ice cream.
Recipe for hot apples stewed in calvados
Serves 4 with ice cream
Ingredients
- 2 cooking apples
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp Calvados (or brandy)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tsp lemon juice
Method
- Peel, core, and chop the apples.
- Heat gently in the rest of the ingredients.
